Tennessee State Association of Free Will Baptists November 10-12, 2014

You will not want to miss the Tennessee State Association of Free Will Baptists when it meets for the 77th annual session on November 10-12, 2014. Four able preachers of the Word will develop the theme,“A Good Soldier of Jesus Christ.” The state convention will meet at what seems to be it’s adopted meeting place, the Main Stay Suites and Conference Center, 410 Pine Mountain Road, Pigeon Forge. The 126 room hotel with attached conference center nestled at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains is ideal for the three days of worship, fellowship and conducting the business of the association. Clerk Jeff Davis will call the association to order on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. and introduce the Moderator, Randy Riggs. There is sure to be good music as Free will Baptists from all over the state blend their voices in worship and praise to God.

Robert J. Morgan, pastor of The Donelson Fellowship in Nashville for the last 35 years will be the keynote speaker as he addresses the subject,“A Good Soldier is Faithful to His Commander.”Morgan is an international speaker and best selling author with over 25 books in print. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from his alma mater, Columbia International University, in 2014.

He has earned degrees from Welch College and Duke Divinity School and studied for two years at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
