Tennessee Seniors Retreat, March 15 – 17, 2010

Everyone should know by now—seniors know how to have fun! Contrary to what you have heard about grumpy old men and complaining old women, you won’t find that at the Tennessee Seniors Retreat which will be held at the Mainstay Suites and Conference Center in Pigeon Forge, March 15 – 17, 2010.

Many claim this retreat is the highlight of their year. Every year seems to get better! This year will be no exception when seniors (you decide the age of a senior) meet in Pigeon Forge for two nights and three days of down-home music, fun and laughs, and yes, some serious moments too. Pastors and their wives of any age are encouraged to come and bring your seniors. Veteran pastor and all-around good guy Dave Thomas will be the featured speaker. He and wife Julia have over thirty years experience in ministry. Dave was raised in a preacher’s home and now pastors Head’s FWB Church in Middle Tennessee.

Music is an integral part of our program. Our featured musical group this year is Barry Scott and Second Wind. The group consists of Barry Scott, Travis Houck, Jason Leek, Zane Petty, and Matthew Munsey. They are a really good group of Christian guys who love the Lord and are professional musicians. They will entertain us and minister to us as well.

If you’re looking for a Bible Conference, this is not your venue; but if you are truly looking for a retreat from the hard realities of life, you’re going to find what you’re looking for at this retreat. The cost is only $230 per couple ($115 each) and if you send complete payment by February 12, you qualify for the Early Bird Special and save $20 ($210 per couple, $105 each). It is more per person if you are single and do not want a roommate or less per person if you are willing to stay three or four in a room.

Call for a brochure with full details or see your pastor—he should have brochures available. Brochures have been distributed to churches and conferences or you may call the Tennessee Promotional Office at (615) 715-0521. Those not wishing to pay in full for the Early Bird Special should send $50 registration fee by March 1, 2010; balance is due upon arrival. We will allow late registration if rooms are available.
