IRS Makes Changes For 2019 Mileage Rates
A vibrant group of prime timers (and a few young folks) converged on the Smoky Mountains’ village of Pigeon Forge for 3 days of relaxation, enjoyment and fellowship. When the dust settled, 273 people attended the event billed “A Tennessee Homecoming.” A talented singer, Scott Bullman and keyboard artist, Carson Wagner, both from Lynchburg, Virginia thrilled the audience with the great music of the church. There were old songs, new songs, fun songs, serious songs and just plain good music. Bill and Brenda Evans provided the wit, humor and inspiration for the retreat and the crowd loved them. The hotel was sold out this year so anyone planning to come next year (March 12 – 14, 2012) needs to make their reservations early. Plans next year will include an overflow hotel not far from the present site.
