Racism, the Bible, and the Church: Free Will Baptist Publishing House Releases Free Study
Nashville, TN, December 7, 2012 – Randall House Publications, the publishing arm of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, has released a free, downloadable, small group study for churches titled Racism, the Bible, and the Church: A Biblical Perspective.
Executive Secretary of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Keith Burden noted, “We are encouraged by the Kentucky church reversing its previous decision regarding interracial couples. Christians should love, accept, and respect people of various ethnicities.”
Randall House CEO Ron Hunter stated, “Free Will Baptists believe in the authority and supremacy of Scripture, and the Bible has a good deal to say about the sin of racism. As the publisher for Free Will Baptists we take seriously our mission to bring the relevance of God’s Word to everyday life."
This new, free study for churches and individuals answers important questions such as:
- How does the Bible define race?
- Where did all the different languages and cultures come from?
- Is God guilty of racism?
- What about being “unequally yoked”?
- How are we supposed to treat people that are different from us?
