IRS Makes Changes For 2019 Mileage Rates
Since 1939, Free Will Baptists Family Ministries has been caring for needy children. Tennessee Promotional Director, Glenn Poston, is asking every Tennessee church to consider receiving a special offering for them during the month of May, in honor of Mother’s Day, May 9. The children’s home depends on this offering to help meet the great needs of these often neglected and abandoned children. Many of the children have special needs.
Family Ministries also ministers through the Hope Crisis Pregnancy Resource Center and several precious children, who most likely would have been aborted, were saved and cared for this past year. The Laurels Retirement Center also seeks to minister to people in their twilight years. Free Will Baptist Family Ministries is also reaching alcohol and drug dependent young men at a crucial time in their lives. Young people are being saved and lives are being salvaged through this outreach program. In 2009, 112 young people accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, 85 youth rededicated their lives to follow Christ, and 102 babies were born to moms who benefited from The Hope Center.
