The FWB National Home Missions Board met recently and announced two new missionary families that will be joining a team in targeted areas.
Mark and Danielle McCraney are going to Castle Rock, Colorado, as team members with Donnie and Susan Burke in planting a new Free Will Baptist work there. They are coming to Home Missions from the pastorate in Red Bay, Alabama. Brother Mark graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. He is currently attending Liberty University pursuing an M. A. R. in Discipleship Ministries. Castle Rock is located between Colorado Springs and Denver. Currently, twenty-eight percent of the polled residents claim no affiliation with any religious congregation. The McCraneys have two sons, Ethan and Lucas.
Tim (Jr.) and Amanda York are joining home missionary Brian Williams as team members to the Buffalo, New York, project. The Yorks are coming to Home Missions from the pastorate at First Free Will Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama. Brother Tim’s work will be concentrated in the critical and important area of discipleship in the new church, while Amanda will help to create a ministry to the large deaf population in the area. This new area of ministry will be a first for the work in Home Missions.
