The Tennessee Free Will Baptists will host a golf tournament on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory. The tournament is a fundraiser to assist in raising money to host the National Association in Memphis next July.
The event will begin with a buffet meal at 11:30 AM with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. Awesome prizes are being offered including a chance to win a Harley Davidson Motorcycle (or $18,000 cash) and a set of Ping golf clubs complete with driver, putter and bag if you are lucky enough to get a hole-in-one on certain holes. A total of one thousand dollars cash will be awarded to the top three teams ($500, $300 and $200 respectively). Other significant prizes include a new set of tires of your choice (up to $400), a two day stay in Pigeon Forge, a one night get-away at the Vanderbilt Lowe’s Plaza complete with two dinners, one night stays at approximately one dozen other “top-notch” hotels in the Nashville area and gift cards to almost any dining establishment you can name. The prizes are just too numerous to mention.
Participants are asked to pay or get sponsorships for $250 per player. A $50 fee will hold your spot and the balance can be paid on the day of the tournament. The meal, green fee, carts, practice balls, and refreshments are all included in the entry fee. For more information, please contact Glenn Poston at the state promotional office (615-715-0521). Please click on the Tennessee FWB Classic on this website for a flyer with all the information. The tournament is open to men and women and anyone who wants to play.
